In ERM under GRC , Configuration Select Miscellaneous is showing error

Hi Team,

In ERM under GRC -> Configuration -> Miscellaneous is showing

500 Internal error

Application error occurred during request processing.

Details: java.lang.NullPointerException: null

Exception id: [00215E78C4C0006800000A42000961940004792FA9E0830D]

Can you help where to check the which Jar file it is not picking up

Have you uploaded the initial data (xml) files in ERM which comes with the installation?

Problem is solved by redeploying the XML file of SP09. Which I missed after SP09 upgrade

Hi Punit,

Generally the system gives 500 internal error, when the Web server (running the Web Site) encountered an unexpected condition that prevented it from fulfilling the request by the client (e.g. your Web browser) for access to the requested URL. So could you please let us know,whether the error is happening with all the four components or only with ERM. Also please provide the logs also. It"ll be helpful to analyze the issue. If possible, try with restarting the netweaver server. Hopefully the error would be resolved(I might be foolish to say so, but the problem get resolved in most cases).
