Adobe forms with ABAP AS

Hi guys

i need to know is it possible to work with adobe froms while i'm using only ABAP AS without JAVA AS, in other words will it be possible to install the ADS on an ABAP AS ?

No, you cannot install ADS in ABAP without a JAVA AS.

ADS is a component of JAVA and can be installed either as a standalone Java system or as a Java Add-in with ABAP.

It's a prerequisite to produce Adobe forms in SAP, yes. However there are other Adobe and non Adobe applications for producing forms outside SAP.

No problem, you're welcome

Check to see if you have a recent(version 7.0) Solution Manager system running in your landscape which uses a Java AS and will come with ADS pre-installed. If you're not going to use ADS too heavily then you could always make use of this system by linking it with your ABAP systems.
