We have EP 6.0 SP14 , KMC SPS14 and TREX 6.1
The Current Scenario in KM with respect to Workflow process is fine. However, in order to set the approval process for folders, the user has to manually go to each and every folder and set the approvers.
Even if permissions are set, the same permissions get automatically set for all the sub-folders beneath it.
But the same doesnot happen while setting the approval.
<b>In our case we have 1000's of folders and setting approval for each every folder would be unimaginable.</b>
Our requirement is
1. When a document is uploaded, there should be provision for specifying the approval process for the document.
(A field in the upload form for specifiying the approval process).
The same can be possible with the help of
pre-defined templates stating the different approval process.However, i am not able to find such
feature ("Predefined Templates") in KM w.r.t to Workflow process.
2. When the approval process is set for one folder, the same needs to be applied for all the sub-folders
beneath it.
Kindly let me know , if this is possible and if so how ?
