Triggering events in Non-SAP Applications

Hi All,

We have implemented Knowledge Management and Collaboration using EP 6.0 SP14 , KMC SPS14 and TREX 6.1.

We are in need to implement the following requirements:

1. When a document is approved in KM, the same has to trigger event(s) in other Non-SAP applications

(ie. an exisiting Java application).

Kindly let me know , if this is possible and if so how ?

Hi Venkat,

If you can trigger events in the non-SAP application by receiving messages, then you can trigger a message in the approval step in KM to XI and XI routes it to the nonSAP Application and the message will trigger the event.
