Call a VC Model from outside Portal

Hello,

I´ve created a small VC Model that shows some Information. I want to integrate this VC App via URL into another Portal (not SAP Portal).

Is it possible to show this content via URL in this portal regarding aspects like SSO and so on?

I´ve integrated some Webdynpro for Java this way and it works fine with SSO.

Thanks and Regards,

Marc

Hi Gilles,

thanks for your response. The link works fine, I know, but I´m searching for a solution with which I can implement the VC model itself with an URL. With your link I have to implement the VC model with the portal framework around.

For Webdynpro for Java I use: http://server:50000/webdynpro/dispatcher/(webdynprojava)

If I start the VC model iview in preview mode, I get what I want. The VC model without portal framework, but if I implement this link SSO won´t work!

Any ideas?

Regards,

Marc

Hi,

In order to help I need to know what kind of SSO you use. Windows authentication with SPNEGO ?

With this kind of SSO?

You should have done some setup with login module for Web Dynpros.

You should do the same for Visual Composer.

Hi Gilles,

thank you for your help.

I´ve solved the problem with a redirect script that connects over J2EE, do the auth and redirect to the VC App.

Similar to this HowTo

Hi,

Yes it is possible, the sso is the same for WD Java and Visual Composer.

Just use the url generated by Visual Composer when you test your model.
