hi,
you can refer to the best practice's guide for configuring the ISA scenarios (both B2B & B2C).
a functional consultant needs to understand the client's requirements and map it to the ISA solution.
key skills required are CRM Enterprise configurations, ISA .
let me know your email id i will mail you the guide if you need it.
hope the response is useful.
regards,
Rishi

Shabir, I would recommend you to have a look at the ISA Best Practice scenario's. These guides contain a step-by-step approach on how to configure a certain ISA scenario, either B2B or B2C. These guides are stored at http://help.sap.com and select Best Practices. From there select Cross-Industry Packages->CRM. These guides should bring you up to speed in this area in very thorough manner.
Shortcut to this documentation: http://help.sap.com/bp_crmv340/CRM_DE/index.htm. Select from here Installation -> Preconfigured Scenarios -> Select your scenario for ISA.
Let me know what you think, Tiest.
