Solman Migration

Dear All,

We have solman production system-component version BBPCRM 3.1 and we have installed solution manager 7.0 ehp1 recentlly.

we need whatever data exist in BBPCRM 3.1 should be there in new installed system (solution manager 7.0 ehp1)

Can anybody guide and give me support do to this activities.

There's no standard way of doing that. You'd need to book an SLO service for that (http://service.sap.com/slo).

Why didn't you upgrade the old system?

We have tried but after DB ugrade the system(startsap) cannot be up and running.

Check with the DB connection is proper or not.

If you have Unix/windows then login to <SID>adm and user R3trans -d

If its connecting properly then you connection to database it ok.

Better to check R3trans log. It will guide you to go ahead

After upgraded the oracle we are facing following issue.

R3trans -d

This is R3trans version 6.13 (release 640 - 21.10.08 - 10:02:00).

2EETW169 no connect possible: "DBMS = ORACLE --- dbs_ora_tnsname = 'SMR'"

R3trans finished (0012).

Did you do all the steps mentioned in the Oracle upgrade guide? it's not enough to just install the new software...

What's the output of "trans.log" after you execute R3trans -d?
