Hello.
We are having difficulty printing Japanese delivery notes from SAP.
A printer has been upgraded with a flashcard containing several Japanese fonts.
Without the flashcard the delivery note only shows the # symbol where there should be text.
We already verified there is a correct font present on the flashcard because we sent a couple of test prints to Japan.
When we check the document in the printer spool it is the same as when they print it in Japan.
The problem we are having is when we actually print the delivery note it comes out completely different.
The company we bought the flashcard from says that the wrong font is being used.
They requested the data that is being sent (print to file) instead of the actual print.
Is it possible to print to file so we can see the data?
Can we change the font that SAP is requesting from the printer to the correct one?
If additional info is needed, please ask.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Michael van Opheusden.
FYI:
Still working on the problem, will update with more info/solution.

How to get the print file:
- In SPAD transaction, temporarily activate "retain print file" checkbox for your output device: menu "Edit" then "Test tool" or "Debug", a tab will be displayed where you can see this checkbox.
- Print again the document (you may simply reprint the spool request), a file will be generated in the "DIR_DATA" directory (AL11 transaction), with +++++++.<SYS> name (also, sort by date to find it). Display it to try to make sure it's yours.
- Now DEACTIVATE the checkbox (otherwise, you risk disk full).
- Ask the admins to send you this file, or use FTP transfer in binary mode (so that to not alter this file).

Yes we can send the delivery note to the presentation server as a file from where you see the data,
