lock of jobs (V$LOCK)

Hi All,

Every time i execute a job there is a lock and in SM50 job appears with V$LOCK (same situation for every job).Note 126676 specifies solution for this but the note is only applicable till Oracle 9i but our DB is Oracle 10g.Let me know how to resolve this issue.

Is this a SAP standard program or customer program ?

Hi Mark,

These are SAP programs (ex: SAPLSTD1) and SAP folks are doing some currency conversion.They are facing this issue during this conversion.Let me know how to proceed.

when these locks are happening what do you see in transaction DB01 ?

Hi Mark,

When i am running transaction DB01 a msg window is popping up saying that NOT ORACLE VERSION 8/9 - PROGRAM ABORTED (Program RSORALCK).Let me know if you know some work around for this,

Can you paste in the contents of your init<SID.ora or Spfile hichever one you have decided to use.
