Hello All QM experts,
When i am reversing stock posted by a given inspection lot , system is asking for higher quantity of stock than the stock posted through inspection lot?
What could be the reason / reasons for this?

Hi
Are you using any SAP note for reversing( inspection lot related reversal)
or
You are using 08 inspection type.
if 08 inspection type then ,As it is not reference to Inspection lot or original GR ,it allows to put more Qty ( qa much available in Unrestricted stock MMBE)
I hope this will help
Regards
Sujit

Hello Sujit,
I am using using SAP note :175842 for stock reversal and i am using "04" inspection type.So i am reversing the same inspection lot which is generated from the Production order.
I think in this case it should not ask for more quantity than the quantity posted through that inspection lot.
