Hi,

If I have understood correctly u want a list of questions which need to be answered while designing a process chain..

-What is the source system for the data?

-What is the update mode-full or delta?

-What is the frequency of data load?Weekly..daily..monthly..ad hoc run..specific time..

-Does the run of the chain depend on other events in the system?

-Is the chain scheduled through a 3rd party scheduling tool?

-Do any chains have this chain as a predecessor?

-Should data be loaded to PSA and then to target,or directly to target(1st option is preferred)..

-Does successful run of chain requires sending e-mail notification?

-Do we need to place this as a local chain within a meta chain?

-What type of data target admin is required in the chain...drop and create indexes,roll up,create DB stats,compression etc
