How to Restrict R/3 users from creating Support messages to Solman

Hi all,

We have implemented SOlution manager. Now our production R/3 users and Solman Users having Same User IDs. The problem is we have not assigned some users for Solman. But They are able to create Support messages from R/3.

Kindly suggest how to restict those unauthoized users from creating MEssages . Because those Messages are getting created .

Its urgents .........

Hi Ragu,

Those two notes are not much relavent to my Issue.

My Issue is restrict the satillite users who all not a valid users for Solman shoul not create Messages where as u r giving the solution for the users having login in Solman.

I could find One MEssage class 'B~' and Message No '30' i.e 'You do not have authorization to create support messages'.

I want this message to be triggered for those who dont have authorization.

Go to Tcode : DNO_CUST04 --> select NO_USER_CHECK Dont maintain any Field value there.

in Our system its with 'x' value.

Yes, you have do it in your Solman,

in Our system its with 'x' value.

System will check whether the message creator (satellite) is existing in Solman or not.

Also u can check in IMG path (SOLMAN EHP1 SPS20)

SAP solution manager --> scenario specific settings -->service desk --> general settings --> Deactivate User check,

This IMG is to do deactivate this user checking functionality.

Dear Rajesh,

Could you let me know how did you resolve the above issue . I am facing the same requirement here to restrict few users from creating solman service desk ticket from sattelite system.

I have changed the field value X to space. But its allowing the Unauthorized users to create Support messages.

Hi

This is a standard way of restricting non solman users from creating support desk messages. I would you suggest you to check all ur settings once again,

This worked for me earlier

try to restrict the this by using Auth Obj CRM_ORD_PR.

We have included only authorized users in that Object.

But How its allowing too create Unauthorized Users ?
