How do I configure exchange rates so that the system uses the Bank Rate for Quotations and the Average Rate in Sales Order and the current exchange rate in Billing.
Regards.
Saurav .
Hi Saurav,
Different excange rates can be maintained with help of different excbahge rate types. Generally exchange rate type M is used but you can define more as per the requirement and use user exit to pick up these different ex rates during quotation, sales order and billing.
FI and ABAP can help in this.

Yes it is possible and actually happens functionally. Also between which rates you want to use there is one more question that the rates of which date you want to use as usually you will make bill on date in sap which is different from B/L date and rates as on B/L date are required in invoice conditions. To do this you enter service rendered date in the invoice and make a setting in copy controls from DO to invoice that exchnage rate on date of service rendered date should be taken.
