Costing - in SAP PS

Dear SAP PS Experts,

We have a requirement that we need to do cost calculation based on certain rules.

i.e. There are equipments and each equipment has certan length and type. Each equipment incurrs cost based on length and type. e.g. one equipment with 5 meter length and type 'Z' will incur 5 * 30 = 150 USD (example), another equipment with 5 meter length and type 'Y' will incur 5*40= 200 USD etc. The cost is function of type and length. I need to integrate PS with equipments, capture such details and calculate the total cost. Can anyone please suggest appropriate way to model this and how to make use of SAP PS?
