OS400 change codepage from 37 to 875

Dear experts

the system is R3 4.6C with 46D Kernel in OS400 V5R1 and the OS code page is 37.The customer has decided to change this codepage from 37 to 875. What is the impact in SAP?

Also there are legacy systems sending files to SAP via FTP/ ASCII mode, should any change be made in those systems

Hi Dimitrios,

within SAP, there is no change to be expected ))

But, on the OS level the change from US-EBCDIC to Greek-EBCDIC can cause trouble in each interface.

Therefore, you should test every interface and the you are fine
