ERP 6.0 - Disk Partition Size for Windows Server 2003 with SQL Server 2005

Hi Experts?

What is the recommended logical/phyisical disk partition size for:

1. ERP 6.0 All-in-One (FI,CO,MM) [Windows server 2003 and MS SQL Server 2005]

How many partitions should there be for each installation?

Also is it recommended to have the database software installed on a seperate

disk to the data and log files?

I have read the installation guides and cannot find this particular information.

Much appreciated...

What are your expected sizes?

Don't use partitions, use DISKS.

yes

Usually you do a sizing of the server (http://service.sap.com/quicksizer) together with your hardware vendor/partner. Out of that that vendor should make you an offer for a machine, a filesystem layout and filesystem sizes.

Brandon,

what do you expect me to tell? I have not seen a sizing of your system.
