Japanese currency issue

When a SC in SRM gets converted to a PO in R3 it gets reduced by 1/100.

ie a user creates a SC of worth 100,000 JPY and the R3 PO shows it as 1000 JPY.

Recently the SRM system has been upgraded SRM 5.0 and R3 is on 4.6C.

Pleas note that the currency conversion and the user setttings are all correct.

Hi,

It looks issue is in R/3 4.6C side. Please check the support package level.

You should find the note for R/3 side.

Hi Masa,

I thnik there is an issue from SRM side as well when shopping cart with limit raised with 10000JPY , when we check entries in BBP_PD it is showing the value as 100JPY .So i think same is transferring the SAP Backend .

Table :BBP_PDLIM is also shoping the value as 100 JPY.

I have chekced both the settings in R/3 and SRM .The OY04 is having the

ZERO Decimals.so it is standard one .

Along with this i have checked the TCURX table and in that decimal

places selected was "ZERO".

Hi,

Please check JPY currency value in SC UI. (not BBP_PD). If it shows wrong value in SC UI, it is a bug in SRM side. If it shows correct value in SC UI, it is a bug in R/3 side. I think your R/3 support package level is low.

Please also check JPY value in MM transaction UI (not DB table).

What is your APP SP level in R/3 and Plug-In SP level in SRM?

Could you please elaborate on checking the data of SRM UI side .You are right that our SAP R/3 version is 4.6 C and SRM 5.0.

Hello ,

You need to check at HTTP SC if the value there is correct. Looking at bbp_pd is not a option because the system store the value without conversion and the application make this conversion after.

-> Decimal Places for Currency and conversion

Decimal Places value of price in stored in table

0 /100 (Divide 100)

1 /10 (Divide 10)

2 No Conversion(Standard)

3 * 10 (Multiply 10)

EXAMPLE:

Currency Decimal places AMOUNT BSEG-WRBTR

SGD 2 2000 2000

NLG 2 2000 2000

JPY 0 2000 20

KWD 3 2000 20000

ITL 0 2000 20

So, If everything is ok in the SRM BBPSC04 , the issue would be not related with the SRM.

You can make a test data on the SC transfer to see what SRM deliver to the MM. Also check if you don't have any badi that maybe is getting the value from the table without making the convertion.

Are you aware of any notes applicable for SRM5.0 because none of the notes you mentioned are for 5.0

Please suggest.

Please check the TCURX table in R/3 and SRM.

And aslo check the table levels wt is the exact amount.

I have checked TCURX table both in R/3 and SRM and in both Decimal is "ZERO" .Along with this i have checked the OY04 and in that for JPY standard 2 decimals was set.
