Convert SmartForm output to Excel format

Hi,

Does anyone know how to convert SmartForm output to Excel format (an .xls file)?

Hi,

try like this

1.View the print preview of the layout.

2.Use the menu Goto->List Display

3.Then use System->List->Save->Local file

4.Finally select the option Spreadsheet to download to Excel.

Hi,

Its not meaningful (Not useful as well) to convert a Print Form (smartform) into Excel. Its like converting a picture into Excel file.

So first of all you must make sure if this is the requirement. If you want to have the smartform data into excel you have to put it into a separate internal table and then download it.

Currently only format conversion possible from Smartform is PDF, for which there are lot of examples in this forum.
