How to add new field in Item overview screen?

Dear All,

I would like to add new column ( ATP rule) adjusent to Item cat column in item overview screen.

can I use screenexit for this?

If yes what are the steps?

If not what is a solution?

It may not be possible to change the Overview screen tab but additional tab A & B can be used for custom fields or additional SAP standard fields. If that is ok with you, we can get in more detail on how to add fields to those tabs.

Yes we know that we can add additional field in additional data, but we need to add ATP field in Item overview near by item cat column...is this possible with any screen exit, user exit etc..

I think, it can be achieved through changing the screen in that particular transaction.

How about using a poup screen on the item overview screen ? That should be possible to do using a user exit. Screens exits are not present on that screen - tab.
