phase in profile

as u said b4.. i-phones don't have any historical data or similar product to forecasting..

i phones are first time introducing in the market. here how i can take the similar product hisotry. which product can i take as a smiilar product for i-phone. which product history have to take for i-phones.

They are introducing the product first time. even no one have introduced such a product in the market.

How could i???

Hi Dallyanusha,

Try using phase-in planning process functionality in DP.

The phase-in planning process calculates forecast values for new products

that do not yet have historical data. This calculation is based on values derived

from the experience of similar products.

If you do not have any similar product in place to use in phase in profile,

try creating new CVC's for the new products and try out manual forecast

by keeping up the planning book open and ask your marketing team to enter

the tentative forecast.

If you are not going to work with historical data, then no need to

create like profile
