NW7.0 SPS 19 and kernel

Hi,

we have applied SPS 19 to JAVA stack system. our kernel is 146 version 64 bit unicode. Do we need to upgrade the kernel too?

hello,

The SP Stack 19 in the SAP download Center uses kernel 201. So you should update the kernel.

Hello,

Whenever you are updating your Java stack, please update it using Stack file (*.xml) Option. This stack file will let you know which kernel version is required for a particular SP level.

As per the SAP's recommendation, we should always update Java stack using Stack file, since it helps in validating the components at the very initial stages.
