GR Value of Production Order

Former Member

Dear SAP,

I have two questions about GR Value of Project Stock according to

MRP Strategy. We use both MTO and MTS.

MTS(Make to Stock) is MRP Strategy 40(Planning with final assembly).

When we do Goods Receipt after Production Order, GR Value is calculated

as follows.

GR Value = GR Qty x Standard Price of Material Master.

MTO(Make to Order) is MRP Strategy 20 and 50(Planning without final

assembly). When we do Goods Receipt after Production Order, GR Value is

calculated as follows.

GR Value = GR Qty x Standard Price

I donu2019t know where this Standard Price comes from. Itu2019s different from

Material Master. It seems Standard Price is calculated for each MTO

Order.

1. Could you let me know how Standard Price is made for MTO Order?

We use Consignment Process.

When we make a Consignment Fillup Order with MTO Material, GR Value is

as follows.

GR Value=GR Qty x Standard Price.

Yet, when we make a Consignment Issue Order with the same Material,

GR Value =GR Qty x Standard Price of Material Master.

2.Consignment Issue Order seems to follow MTS way. Is it correct logic?

3.If thereu2019s a way to adjust setting for this, could you let me know

where I can?

Thanks.

Hi,

For any costing to Happen for order, there is a costing variant maintained(Actual as well as planned).

check in Tcode OPL1: Select the appropriate Costing variant

Then Go inside valuation variant and for the tab material Val. there will be a strategy based on the priority.

Verify the strategy and the cost loaded.

Hope its useful.

thanks!!!
