BOM packaing material

Dear Experts,

Scenario:

To make FG material packing, it requires 10 (polythene cover,carton box, Etc...)materials ..

Here i maintained BOM for Header material

and DC level user can pick Header material(Pk-r1) to pack.

but only header material is consuming.

Req:

If user pick the header material,system has to consume all Subcomponents . OR Is there any way to full fill this requirment.

I want to make certain things clear....

1.For which material you are maintaining the stock either at the Main item level or at the components level.

2.Is it an automatic packing proposal or a manual packing.

Hi Mr.Venky,

As you have mentioned the stock should be maintained at component level the item category would be TAN ok.

So for the particular item category maintain Packing as Manadatory.

The thing is even if you want to show that your header item is also packed then for the item Category TAP also make packing as mandatory.

Maintain the packing related datas in both the Maint item as well as the sub-item.

Then try out for packing.
