Different Rounding Values for Heuristics and Deployment

Hello All,

I have a requirement to maintain different Rounding Values for Heuristics and Deployment. So we are planned to create a program which will be executed before the Deployment run. This will change the rounding value in the product master. Again the same program will be executed after the deployment run which will revert rounding value to the original value as before.

Now my doubt is I know if we execute the deployment internally it executes even the heuristic run. So please let me know the impact. Or let me know me is it better to handle this process by a badi or an user exit?

Hi Sivaprakash,

If you are running Deployment heuristics (Not Real time deployment), it will not execute heuristics.

If you are running real time deployement or Deployment optimizer then it runs heuristics also.

If it is the first case you can go ahead.

If not please let me know which run you are taking.

Thanks a lot for your reply.

If the heuristic is not executed along with the deployment then we will go ahead with our solution (i.e) by changing the rounding value in the product master.
