SPRO Settings

Can we transfer the SPRO Settings in sales and distribution from one SAP R/3 Instance to a new ECC Instance?

Can we manually copy/configure the ECC Sales and Distributionwith the settings in the old R/3 system?

The R/3 users are going to use the new ECC system where some users may be deleted and some distribution channels and divisions may be deleted.

Thanks

Instead of transfer technique, the upgrade strategy is a better option.

During the upgrade, it is however recommended that proper care is taken to ensure that any Y or Z configuration and program are not missed out.

Ideally we will have a copy of the instance, which we will upgrade, so that it can be compared.

Hi,

If you upgrade the system from one version to another all the Standard Settings will be Upgraded , Only the Customization settings which you done with Z or Y as prefix will not be upgraded.

This is a process in UPGRADATION PROJECTS.

Hi,

It is not recommended to transport TR's from one version to the other.

Check below links

Regarding user roles, check with your BASIS consultant. Refer below links for more info.

Dear Swetha,

You can obviously transport the IMG(SPRO) settings from one server to another server and One client to another client.

I hope you are trying to ask the Training client for Key users..it can be down. All most of the Work down by Basis consultant..

Here your responsibility is, give the list of Transport Numbers.

This Request numbers you can find in T-code:SE09.

Revert if you need clarity.
