Installation problem

Hi,

I am trying to install SAP abap trial version 7.1. But its throwing an error message like "The installer is unable to run in graphical mode. Try running the installer with the -consple or -silent flag."

OS is Windows vista home basic 64bit.

Please help.

Check your JDK is installed correctly and JAVA_HOME is also set correctly. You may want to check the PAM at [service.sap.com/pam]

Hi,

Windows vista is a platform which is not recommend to install SAP.

It may install successfully but definitely you will get issues with GUI and Database. Windows vista\XP, such home editions are not capable enough to run SAP server.
