System should not allow overlapping trips

How to restrict the sytem - overlapping trips should not be allowed in R3 as well as ESS. Error message should be displayed.

I am using ECC6.0, and trying in R/3 only.

In ESS, warning message is displayed, but after that it is allowing overlapping.

That is a standard functionality.

Say you have created a trip from 01.01.2009 to 05.01.2009 and created an expense report for it.

Now you try to create another travel request from 03.01.2009 to 07.01.2009, system will give error

'Overlapping Trips allowed' is already 'unchecked' in these schemas, but still the system is allowing to save overlapping trips.

If expense report is raised, then system is not allowing to save another trip on the same dates. But if the expense report is not yet raised, overlapping is allowed.

You are applying the trip via portal or through R/3, do the same in R/3 and check if any result found ...

Check the schemain the V_T706S and unflag the option of "overlapping Trip Allowed"
