Manufacturing by using Project System

Hi,

I have a question about manufacturing by using SAP PS only.

In manufacturing industry having MTO process, is it possible only to use SAP PS without SAP PP.

If it is possible, let me know any implementation cases.

I would say it is possible to use PS without PP

In this scenario the material would always be procured from outside or treated as a stock item
