Time zone different between the MII server location and Plant location

Hi all,

Currently we are having a problem in the MII 12.1 installation, Our MII server is located in a different time zone from the plant and we want to collect real time data from OPC server and via UDS save it in MII database. what is the possibility of making the MII server to be in sync with the shop floor system.

when i went through the previous threads posted, i think we should have a local instance of MII server in the plant and connect it to the central MII server using VirtualServer which have a Time off set parameter.

I require the guidance from the forum.

Shyam,

If querying for the current values of the plant data, the time stamp retrived will be from the OPC server or historian with the values. If you are insisting only for the plant time then donot worry about the MII server timings.
