Hello,

Can somebody tell how to start J2EE engine on PI 7.1 ?

Hi,

Go to SMICM T-code ans select the menu AS Java --> Instance (Local) --> choose the Send Soft Shut down with restart.

Don't choose Hard Shut down.

Soft shut down: If any instance is running then after completion of that instance it will shut down.

Hard Shut down: It immediately shut downs the java engine (if any things are running that are terminated without saving).

Tried it . In trace file of smicm I see : SfOpenIDynShare :dynamic shared memory does not exist.

Can you or anyone suggest?
