infosource activation problem

Hi experts,

I'm facing a problem with the infosource activation. i'm doing LIS extraction and the datasource is 2lis_40_s800. after replicating the data source i assigned it to the application proposal-- infosource , and after proposing the transfer rules when i tried to activate it . it displayed the following message

"transfer structure 2lis_40_s800_BF does not exist".

i tried repeatedly by deleting the infosource and assigning it from the datasource. i also replicated the datasource and assigned the infosource again, but the problem persisted.

any help to solve the problem would be hugely appreciated.

Hi Vamshi,

Check in R/3 whether data source 2lis_40_s800 is active or not in RSA6. Also check whether the extract structure is active or not for the data source in R/3 .

thanks a lot, i checked the datasource in the R/3 RSA6 it was active. But how to check the extract structure whether it is active or not.

can u explain the proceedure plz.

tcode rsa2.

enter the datasource name and click on display.

in the screen that appears,there will be a field for ext structure.double click on the ext structure name.It will now show all fields in the extract structure.

check whether its active or not.
