Deployment heuristics

I Need to know if deployment heuritics can plan all product -location in network like when we execute network heuristics

all product -location are planned .

Hi Shyam,

The deployment heuristic creates a distribution plan for one product at one location.

Selection of location product for deployment heuristics works as per the

selection we have defined.

Deployment heuristic is a source location by source location approach

to distribute ATD quantities

Hi Syam,

Deployement heuristics are not support to run at network level, through Deployment optimizer you can run at network level.

Hi Shyam,

At the time of running Deployment, the nature of use will solely depends on the selection profile/Manual Selection which u r providing to the system.

Suppose u have a 3 level Network(Customer->DC->Plant), and u want to plan in the same manner of Network Heuristic for the deployment run, then it will be goverened by the SOurce and Destination Locations which u provide in the selection screen of Deployment. In this case u have to include ur DC and Plant in the Source location and ur destination location should include DC and Customer. But u need to be sure about ur ATD Receipt category in ur Deployment relevant Masters.

As the ultimate aim is not to get the results but to get the desired and coreect result, and it will depend upon the Receipts Category which u will maintain at ur DC and Customer.
