Hi,
i have to install a IDM 7.1
We have a Server with Win 2003 x86_64. So we have installed a DB (Oracle 10.2.0.4, 64bit) , the Identity Center Runtime and the IC 7.1. We have also installed SUN Java 1.4.19, sapjvm 1.5.19, JCO 2.1.8, the OCL 32bit
The ODBC ($ORACLE_HOME\db1\lib\ojdbc14.jar) comes with the DB install.
Following the initial_config Guide Page 5 we have to create a connection String by using the "Oracle Provider for OLE DB". But whatever we do: We do not have this entry
In the control-Panel - Administrative Tools - Data Sources we have created a "System DSN" entry to the IDM DB with user mxmc_admin. This works fine.
My CLASSPATH from System points to ojdbc14.jar and the sapjco.jar
My JAVA_HOME from System points to the sapjvm
Now we hav not any Ideas yet - Can anybody help us?
Karl

Hi Karl
I ment, that this Instant Client doesn't install the needed drivers, so it will not show up.
The one I use on my Oracle installation I got from the Oracle homepage
http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/tech/windows/odpnet/index.html
I think I used Oracle 10g Release 2 ODAC 10.2.0.2.21
With this it worked for me, also if you have DB an MMC on one box.
Hi Karl
What installer file you exactly used for the client?
