Descriptive charachteristics

Hi,

I am uploading Sales Order using BAPI BAPI_SLSRVAPS_SAVEMULTI2, I also want to uploaddescriptive characteristics using the BAPI.

I am using KUNNR and BZIRK as the descriptive charachteristics and uploading the relevant data in the structure ATP_EXTRA_FIELDS. I have also maintained the consumption group for the product location.

But when I upload the sales order though the sales order gets uploaded the descriptive charachteristic is not uploaded with the sales order.

Can anyone please help if I am missing on some settings in product master or the BAPI.

Hi! sanjog,

Please check that material ,location & discriptive characterstic combination is a CVC in your planning area on which your consumption group is based.

Hi,

Do we need to have CVC defined for uploading descriptive characteristics with Sales Order.

I believe we have to create CVC only for forecast.

are you using the Sales Order upload BAPI
