Activate SAPoscol in standalone DB server

Hi There,

We have application and DB on different servers and would like to Monitor DB server from the application server and would like to configure the same from OS07. Does anybody have any suggestions? Do we need to have a gateway instance running on DB server for this to be configured.

Nope,

the onlly thing you need is a saposcol and ccmsagent running.

HI There,

We have configured the SAPOSCOL destination in AL15 but we are a bit caught on how to start the SAPCCMS agent on the database server. Can you please advise as we do not have any profiles on the DB server?
