How to know if ITS is installed?

Hi Friends!

I need pusblish some planning books in an existent portal (is not an apo exclusive portal)

My doubs are...

a) Do I need ITS installed? How can I know if is alredy installed? What does it do?

in APO Menu: Supply Chain Collaboration / Collaborative Supply and Demand Planning / /SAPAPO/CLPISDP - Collaborative Supply and Demand Planning , this try to open a web page, but give me an error

b) is this error about ITS? how can I do a ´ping´ to the IP in order to check the server?

c) Any other suggest or check hat I need to do?

You need to tell us your system's version and what the error was.

If your system is 6.40 or higher than you might have the Integrated ITS. You can go to transaction SICF to see if the ITS is activated or not. Just open the tree nodes /default_host/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/ and right click on webgui to see if it is active. If it is you can test from here as well.
