Strategy profile and Heuristics

Could you please brief me on Strategy profile and its impact on planning, and what is its relation with Heuristics in planning?

Hi,

Strategy profile is there in heuristic as well as in planning run and in DS board.

1. For older version of SAP (not sure I think upto 4.0) you set indicator use setting from heuristic in heuristic settings. but in higher versions settings for heuristic are used .

2. For reschduling orders you can give strategy profile in plaaning run also.

3. In DS board strategy settings are used while useing rescheduling function.

it is get grouping different strategy and sequence of using same.
