Regarding Price List

Hi all,

While creating Sales Order in Sap Business One how the price of an item in sales order is calculated.There are 10 types price lists available.But some times the price of an item selected in salesorder is coming other than the existed price lists.

Any one guide me in this issue.I want to know the dependencies of price of an item.

Hi Madhu,

In addition to an unlimited number of price lists, there are other elements that may affect the price given by SBO for an item. These include BP-specific prices, pricelist extensions and discount groups.

The default price for an item is determined as follows:

1. Special price defined for the customer/item ==> Use the special price

2. Discount group specified for the customer ==> Use the discounted price

3. Relevant extensions for the price list found ==> Use the price from price list extension

4. Otherwise, use the price found from the price list specified on the document

This explained in detail in the course material for TB1000 (SBO logistics).
