Hi all,

When I Imported a WSDL into XI using external definition it is showing following error how can I resolve.

Unable to convert imported document to WSDL

Reason: Error when parsing the XML document (Fatal Error: com.sap.engine.lib.xml.parser.ParserException: XML Declaration not allowed here.(:main:, row:1, col:8))

Check the selected category

Could you give us an example of the WSDL you're trying to load (at least the first lines, as error occurs at the "top" of the document) ? Have you been able to check its well-formedness in an XML editor (Stylus, etc) ?

the error message says

Do you have <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> in the top of wsdl file? IF not then add it and try importing it as a wsdl file again....

and if you have it try removing it... and try to import once again..

Hi,

In external defination when you import the WSDL, there is one option of selecting 'Category'.

For that you have to mention 'wsdl'.

Try this.
