CO documents in project execution and settlement

Hi Experts

The primary costs (goods receipt and goods consumption for project objects) will generate CO documents in association with FI documents.

In case of internal activity confirmation (secondary cost) will there be CO document?

Similarly the setttlement function will generate CO document?

Hi,

Yes in case of secondary costs only CO document gets generated and primary costs generate FI and CO documents.

Primary cost elements have a GL account in FI while secondary cost elements dont have any GL account in FI.

Yes. If postings happen against the CO objects i.e., WBS,IO,CTR etc., CO documents would be generated.
