how check the archive logs from sap level and o/s level

Hi

We are processing the Idoc's. So need to check the archive logs. Can you pls guide me to check the Archive logs from SAP level and also from OS level.

Also pls tell me the values to be checked..

from SAP level call transaction DB12 "Backup Logs: Overview for Database <SID>" - Redo log backups: use the buttons below.

If you are using Oracle then <Drive>:\oracle\<SID>\saparch
