We couldn't reproduce the problem.
Do we have all the prerequisites met..??
Is the part 1 already downloaded and other
parts available to be extracted..??
Could you please try using winrar 3.8 and let us know if the
problem persists.
still i am facing same problem . again download all export file. and update winrar.
Hi Rajesh Narkhede
i have downloaded again sap download manger as well as internet download manager. and using winrar8.0,
still same problem
CRC failed in 51034985_2\EXP2\DATA\SAPAPPL2_2.001
unexpected end of archive
some installation files are corrupt.
Please download a gresh copy and retry the installation
Please check the installation master & kernel you are downloading. it is not possible to run 64bit installer on 32 bit platform. If you are downloading 64 bit you have to install new windows 2003 x64 version.
if you want to still continue with 32 bit windows server then >
If your environment offers 'only' 32 bit support, you have to set up your IDES ERP 6.0 ECC 6.0 system not as a normal installation but as a system copy. & double stack(ABAP + Java) is not possible.

IA32 is Intel Arch 32 bit processor type
Select : SAP ERP 6.0 support release3 > SAP System > then select the database type > then select the installation type

Hi.
Yesterday I installed SAP ERP 6.0 SR3 on Windows server 2003 under VMWare.
I have Intel I7 920, 6 GB ram, 1.2 TB disk
Do not be afraid. The installation on Windows is pretty easy. But will take time (approximately 7hs non IDES version).
Hardware Requirements
MS-SQL ORACLE MaxDB DB2 Win/Unix AS/400
DB size (GB): 190 290 240 180 340
You will need (you can get on service.sap.com => download menu):
DB export installation
Oracle RDBMS
Oracle Patch
Oracle Client
Sap Installation Master
Sap Kernel unicode
Java (JDK 1.4.2 and JRE)
Sequence:
- Install JavaJDK 1.4.2 B6
http://www.sun.com/software/javaforbusiness/sap_download.jsp
- Java JRE
http://java.com/en/download/manual.jsp
- Install network loopback adapter
- Install Oracle (only software)
- Install the Oracle patch
- Run Sapinst
In the Sapinst you have to choose:

Just in case you're on 32bit: The option to install a central system including database is no more offered, you need a 64bit OS to get that option.
