Problem with internal catalog

HI,

We are using SRM 5.0 with MDM.

when we try to shop(in English) from internal MDM catalog items are transfered to SC with out nay issue

But if we login through chinese language items are not getting transfered.it is showing the below error

目录中不完整的项目, 仅传输完成的项目 (Directory is not a complete project, only the transfer of completed projects)

what could be the problem?

Kindly guid me?

Hi,

Can you check the message number?

If it is BBP_SC 007 "Incomplete items in catalog. Only complete items were transferred", I think UOM or Currency is not maintained in MDM. Please check.

Hi Masa,

we are able to create SC based on free text.

we are having the above problem only for internal catalog.

Unit was not transferred. Not possible to determine unit

Hi,

The message said UOM problem.

Please check the UOM table and make sure item has UOM in MDM.

UOM is available for the line item and also in Data manager but still i am getting the same error

Hi,

Here is general steps for trouble shooting. Please try 2 and 3 or 4.

1. Check the data error especially for UOM and currency in MDM Data Manager. It looks OK in your case

2. Check OCI mapping

3. http trace with httpWatch tool

4. Debug with BADI

Hi Masa,

Seems like this is SRM MDM Catalog product error. The OCI is not returning OCI field NEW_ITEM-UNIT[1] when logged in Chinese language.

the return OCI values doesnu2019t have NEW_ITEM-UNIT[1] field. Because of which it fails. Same catalog works fine when the user login in English.

we raised a ticket to SAP

i will update once i get reply

Hi,

We are experiencing this same issue. Scenario is SRM 7.0 and SRM-MDM 3.0. We are receiving the error "Unit not transferred and cannot be determined" when transferring an item from the catalog. No shopping cart gets created. The HTTP trace reveals the NEW_ITEM-UNIT is empty, yet it is mapped in the UI.

Can you share SAP's response to the case you raised? I searched OSS but could not find a message or a note relevant tot his issue.

What is the logon language to the SRM-MDM Catalog ?
