NWDI port communication

Hello,

We are currently deploying NWDI 2004s. Is it possible to offer connections to our extranet developers directly? What ports would we have to open on our firewalls? Is there any documentation on NWDI - NWDS secure communications?

Hi

Go to NWDI >> windows>> preferance >> J2EE Engine , select remote option. set you server ip address. I think the default port is : 3601

contact your Network admin to open the port & ip address

It is but then you will have to open server ports on your network firewall so that NWDS can communicate directly with NWDI on all message server port. However this communication will not be secure.

What I can think of is to allow extranet users to login to NWDS environment internally using Citrix server or you can also think of option of VPN connectivity to extranet users and they still use resources from your network.

I haven't seen any such document but if i get i will let u know.
