Automatic Subsequent document

Hi All,

Can you pls provide the configuration setting for below requirement.

After we create the quotation in VA21, We create subsequent sales order in VA01, But client doesn't want the user to go through multiple transactions. So after creating quotation in VA21, User has to be taken automatically to Sales order screen where sales order data is copied from the quotation created.

What is the configuration required for this?

Hi,

Yes, it is possible to copy the data that is there in the Quotation in to the Sales order. It is like this:

Once you create the quotation, go to VA01 tcode and in the initial screen where you give the Order type Sales org, Dist channel & Division ...

If you see the top left corner there is a button called "Create with Reference". Once you click that you will see a pop up asking for the preceeding reference document Number. Please note in your case you need to go to Quotation tab.

Give your quotation number and then click the "Copy" button which is present in the lower left corner of the pop up window....

Then it will lead to the Sales order with all the dat filled in from the quotation.

Also there is and option to copy only those line items and line items with the required quantity in to the order and it is possible through the button "Item selection.." presen tnext to the copy button of the pop up.

Thank you so much for quick reply, In the solution you have mentioned, We need to go to VA01 and give the preceding document number which is Quotation number. But i want is from VA21 itself after quotation is saved, User should be taken automatically to VA01 transaction.

I think this should be possible by enhancing sales order user exit during documnet save.

You need to make sure you need the same functionality during VA21 and also during VA22 quotation change. you can check with your ABAP person on this requirement.

Hi,

By using some BDC program sales order can be created automatically as soon as you create quotation.Explain abaper for this functiionality.
