HR and Netweaver?

Hello,

I think I have done a big mistake...

I installed "SAP Netweaver SR3" on a server and now I wanted to add the components SAP HR / SAP APPL. But I can't find any installation files for that, just support packages.

So my question: Do I have to install "SAP ERP" instead if I want to use HR later? Is there a way to install the HR (or APPL) component without re-installing the complete server?

Hi,

If you want to use the HR module (now called HCM...) you have to install SAP ERP Abap (also known as ECC 6.0).

It is not possible to add standard functional modules on a Netweaver Abap installation.

You should read and understand the SAP ERP Master guide before proceeding to an installation.
