Device Allocation

Hi experts

I have an issue in device allocation.Here is my situation.I would like to get ur valuable solutions.

I created a device in IQ01with category meter.

I also created another ARCR category device

In maintain device allocation EG72 i tried to allocate the ARCR device to the device i created as the controlling device

by selecting the cateogry "Ripple Control Reciver"

When i tried to save it i get a error message :

Device 1 does not contain basic device category ARCR/hour

Message no. EN225

Diagnosis

You have chosen allocation type 01. This allocation type requires a control device that contains the basic device category ARCR/hour.

Device 1 does not contain this basic device category in the period specified.

System Response

The system cannot transfer the allocation.

Procedure

Choose a different allocation type or a different device.

But I have created the ARCR with ARCR category in eg01

Hi Raj,

Please install the ARCR device (Technical Installation) and do the device allocation to the meter.

This should work.
