Quality certificate receipt without inspection lot

Hi Expert,

I have activated QM control key with certificate type but no quality inspection type activated but will take material in quality inspection through IM.

In this case where i can confirm certificate receipt.

How are you going to take material through IM.???

As in customization of certificate type--->if no lot is generated then Either material moves to block stock or through Error.

QCC0>QM in logistic->define leys for certificate processing >Define Certificate Types>Control without certificate

Thanks for reply pls let me explain the scenario.

I am taking material in quality through IM, mean i have not activated any stock relevant inspection type but ticked post to inspection stock in QM view.

Made PO and received the material it went to Quality stock while making GR i have selected certificate received NO as i can select Yes AND NO both are possible.So where i can receive certificate in this case here through movement type i can post material from quality to unrestricted.

So where i can restricted material should not post to unrestricted before Quality certificate confirmation.

As per Normal situation when lot is created i have to confirm certificate receipt at either of three steps.

1.While GR(Yor N) 2.Through QC51 3.Before UD .so generally i confirm certificate receipt before UD and can post material in unrestricted stock.

As per this explanation Lot is not getting created but material is in QI.

Then what only you can do is you can do confirmation in MIGO or in QC51 against PO only.

But why are you making it so complicated.??

even in MIGO or in QC51 receiving certificate confirmation remains same.

u can confirm certificate while MIGO.

when material comes to plant and gr is made system will ask for confirmation of certificate, which is done in qc51. this will change status from "certificate expected "to "certificate recd."

and gr creation will be possible.

it will depend on selection of certificate type in material master.

any doubt plz. revert back and explain ur process briefly
