problem in Translate () expression in visual composer

Hi,

We have one VC model in which we are passing one expression

IF (@@ == 'charecteristicA', TRANSLATE("Coating","XTXT"), IF (@@ == 'characteristicB', TRANSLATE("Colour","XTXT"), ' '))

Here we want to translate the text "Coating" and the text "Colour". I created the translation worklist and provide the translated text but no translation is taking place.

Please help.
