In existing system setting:
One Logon group (PUBLIC) and point to one instances. This setting is work and SAP LOGON default clinet no is 320.
I try to install one more instances on other server and add to same Logon group (PUBLIC).
Install compent as below:
SAP ERP 2005 Support Release 2 -> SAP systems -> MS SQL, Server -> High available system -> Base on ABAP System -> Dialog System
The instance has been installed and start and stop this instance is successful.
Add instance into logon group (PUBLIC)
Logon system via logon group, the logon redirect to new instanace server. But the default client no has been changed from 320 to 001. Change client from 001 to 320 and logon. But no response from new instance server.
Any suggestion to solve this problem.
Thanks!
I see 2 problems
1)
login/system_client should be in default profile ( or you can 320 to your instance profile
2)
it looks like the appserver is unable to tallk to the DB:
can you run a R3Trans-d from the appserver?
post some logs from dia wp from appserver.

I found the profile in profile directory as below:
default.1.pfl
COQ_D02_BSSPI11 (New Instance)
START_D02_BSSPI11 (New Instance)
COQ_DVEBMGS02_bssco11 (existing Instance)
START_DVEBMGS02_bssco11 (existing Instance)
I strat the new instance and add to Public group and logon successful.
The problem is in transaction RZ10.
I cannot select COQ_D02_BSSPI11 and START_D02_BSSPI11 profile from Profile field.
how to fix it.
Thanks!

Hi Patrick CHANG,
Please tell us, if you have this in your system
rz10->Utilities->Import Prfiles->Of active servers
Then, Extended maintenance under 'Edit Profile' on the same window (rz10)
againtst to 'Profile' text box -> click on search button and lets us know if you see your new instance profiles in the pop up window that you get when clcik on search button.
And also in your new instance check, SAPGLOBALHOST & SAPSYSTEMNAME has the correct values with reference to your existing/old instance.

Dear Nico Bresseleers
I Itry to execute R3trans and result as below:
D:\usr\sap\COQ\D02\exe>r3trans -d
This is r3trans version 6.14 (release 700 - 28.07.08 - 15:52:00).
unicode enabled version
r3trans finished (0000).
The problem may be causer by profile is missing for new instance apps server.
May I use RZ10 to create profile for new instance apps server.?
Thanks!

access to DB seems ok
I have never setup an appserver via sapinst, always manual.I would hope that sapinst creates the needed profiles, cause sure you will need one.
Yes you can create a new profile, make sure its an appserver profile and not a copy from DVEBMGS01 ( no enq)
you will need a start profile also but, if you already get a logon then that means the start profile is there ...
I am getting a bit confused here ...
